Our heartfelt thanks go to all who called, visited and brought food, sent flowers and memorials and attend the funeral of Betty Jane and Robert L Mathews, our mother an father, grandparents and great grandparents. We are grateful to Pastors Herzberg and Burling for their comforting words and to Pastor Burling for his caring memorial services, his beautiful singing and music. Other thanks goes to Deb Mitchell for her piano music, to the ladies of the Methodist Church and the Memorial Lutheran Church for the luncheons prepared. Thank you to the staff of Bethany Manor in Zearing, the Emergency staff and the Long Term Care at the Story County Medical Center for their kind care and attention. We would like to thank everyone for their outpouring of kindness, sympathy and friendship during our tragic loss of Marvin. We also would like to give a special thank you to the First Responders and our Volunteer Fire Dept. They provided every chance of hope to situation and every one of them provided professional care. We are thankful to know we have them for all of us. The display of friendship from all of you was a truly humbling feeling. Knowing your support was there and always will be give us peace in our loss. Marvin would never have believed it all. Words can not express the thankfulness for all the love and care that Ryan, Kirk and I have received at the time of John’s death. Thank you to the St. Patrick’s group who prepared and served lunch for our family and the fellowship after the service. To the St. Patrick’s choir, we deeply appreciate the beautiful music.
